Awoken by unbearable heat, "stupid upstairs room" thought I. No time for breakfast. Out the door, onto motorcycle, university bound. ECU was having it's UNIstarters day, where all the first years come along and we (older christian brothers and sisters) show them that UNI can be a friendly place. We also share the secrets that we have learnt to survive studying.....Yeah, I don't really know why I was there either. I guess survive I do, but just barely. It was really encouraging to see all the older guys and gals seeking to love and encourage the newbies, and so very encouraging to see the newbies wanting to learn more about JC and being excited to serve on campus, Amen.
The afternoon boasted Banana milkshakes. 3 cheers for Janet and Sally, who were motivated enough to bring the ingredients, and order Eltham to go out and get others. They were fab. Shane arrived while we were lounging around, all of us knocked flat by the heat of the day. Shane has purchased a nice, not so little, Honda CBR. Apparently he picked it up last tuesday, I have to admit; even though I prefer riding off road, having the extra power his bike had would be very nice. Alright, alright, I was jealous, are you happy? The 250 definately struggles once Amanda is on the back, and it's a bit gutless to wheel stand. Janet fell asleep, missed out on getting a parking permit, then went to a Night church ministry team meeting. Sally on the other hand had her virginal viewing of everyones favourite sword weilding maniac "Beserk", once again Stu "great present". Janet came back, we all walked up Mt Kiera in the dark, I pee'd off a cliff, Chug pee'd in some bushes, we came home, at about midnight, and had dessert. Can you say "Chocolotartae"?
