Gerringooooowne

Due to recent instructions from Amanda, as to how to slow my mind down and be able to read, I am going to write my blog the morning after the events take place. Hopefully, this process will slow me down enough to read. Apparently this advice is from Bill Hybels.

Yesterday I awoke later than usual (see previous installment for details/excuses). Irwan is getting ready to move out, so, I had to move the Ambo so he'd have better access down the side of the house. However in order for me to move the Ambo I had to get craig to move his car, even thou' we have rules about parking behind people. Found that I'd left my driver's side window down for the last week or so. Then I got into the usual morning conversation with all the lads.

I was supposed to be around Amanda's by 1100hrs, the events of the morning insured I was there by about 1137hrs, give or take 30seconds or so. The plan for the day, was to ride down to Gerringong and hang out with some of Amanda's friends. A new experience for me, not being part of that circle. We journeyed down the coast by the bike, which is the best way to get somewhere and clear one's head. The people chillin' out were pretty cool, my kinda people really. Computer literate music people, ah... refreshing. It's good to get away from people that are so driven for societial "norms", I'm so over that bollox. We left the Bash before Midnight, and all the way back I kept making sure Amanda wasn't asleep. It really wouldn't be cool if she fell asleep, then fell off the back of the moto at 100kph. I dropped her home, arriving at about the same timeas her housemate Mel. We chatted for a bit. I went home and slept..
What did I learn that day?? Mmmm, I think I was reminded why I find electronic music so boring.
However, I am looking forward to hanging out with this gang again.
remember Be Excellent to Eachother and Part On dudes
